Departure 3 days away!

We are spending our last 4 days getting our cabin and house ready for winter and it's still August. We don't return home until Nov. 7th so there is a lot to do.

For those of you who don't know what we are up to - here's the scoop;
Bob and I have been asked to help renovate and redecorate a retreat center in Beijing. We will work on that project for 7 weeks and then spend 3 weeks traveling China with Bob's sister, brother and spouses. It will be quite an adventure and we wanted to blog to family and friends.  We leave Sept. 2 and chapter 1 will be written shortly thereafter.
